The RIT/NTID Tiger Gaming League is a program for deaf and hard-of-hearing high school students with a passion for esports. The Tiger Gaming League begins with a series of virtual competitions on a variety of platforms and games, leading up to a national competition in person at RIT/NTID. Tiger Gaming League offers gamers an opportunity to compete individually or as a team, with plenty of competition options for the seasoned gamer!

The top gamers from the virtual competitions will be invited to showcase their talents at the national competition on May 2-4, 2024! During the national competition, you'll compete with top deaf and hard-of-hearing gamers from across the country, get an opportunity to tour RIT's gaming labs, and dive into hands-on workshops on game development and design!

  • Session I - In the first competition, the Tiger Gaming League will host tournaments and heads-up matches in individual formats. Participants may register for as many games as they would like.
  • Session II - The second virtual competition of 2024 will be a team-focused event. All games offered in this competition will include tournaments and matches designed for teams of 2-4 players. Teams must field a roster of 4 and may register for as many games as they would like.
  • Session III - The third competition of 2024 will be the true test of gaming ability leading up to the National Competition! This competition will combine individual and team formats, and the top 40 players from this competition will be invited to the National Competition.
