ASLIE - Pro Bono Interpreting
Interpreter Service Request
The ASLIE department accepts requests for student interpreters.
Our student interpreters are interpreters-in-training. They provide pro bono interpreting service for the opportunity to apply skills they are learning in their college courses. We do not guarantee that the quality of interpreting service is on a par with that of more experienced, professional interpreters. Furthermore, we do not represent, warrant, or guarantee that pro bono interpreters will help you (or your organization) satisfy any applicable laws (namely the Americans with Disabilities Act), rules or regulations regarding the public accomodation obligations that you may have.
If your request for interpreting services is affiliated with RIT, please submit your request through the Department of Access Services' myAccess site.
When the organization hosting the event falls under the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), RIT cannot provide interpreting services.
